The Security level has a "spokes-on-a-wheel" arrangement, with a central circular corridor, an inner complex, and rooms radiating our from the center. Figure 10.0 shows this inner corridor. Every room on the level can be accessed from this ring. Repulsor lifts and catwalks (now probably disabled by S.H.O.D.A.N.), link the central shaft and these outer facilities.

The third dimension comes into play on level 8, for what this level lacks in diameter, it makes up for in height. From Figure 10.1 you can see a view from ground level of the inner ring, looking up to the ceiling. Expect attacks from the above to occur very often.

Figure 10.2 shows a monitoring post, from which security officers can keep watch on their domain. Expect S.H.O.D.A.N.'s forces to be doing the same. The central hub contains numerous sniper posts; expect these to be manned. Be on constant guard, enemies lurk everywhere.

This level is often just as elegant as the Executive level, sporting fancy halls, such as the one in Figure 10.3, and comfortable security offices, like shown in Figure 10.4. This doesn't really mean much to you, seeing as you will be to busy watching your back to admire the carpets.

Detention centers (Figure 10.5), security robot bays, and interrogation rooms (Figure 10.6) were an integral part of the Security level. Expect to find them fully operation, as they are undoubtedly just as useful to S.H.O.D.A.N. as they were to us.

Keep in mind at all times while on this level, that you are at S.H.O.D.A.N.'s front doorstep. It will do everything in it's power to stop you from accessing the bridge. Expect the fight of your life.
